My client is looking for a charismatic individual to join their development team. The Market Researcher will focus on developing close working relationships with customers to understand their business issues and objectives and an intimate knowledge of the markets they operate within. There will be a strong focus on understanding and measuring the value of existing products/services provided and an opportunity to test new product/service ideas with these customers. The role will also require the individual to analyse results and present findings back to their peers.

Key Responsibilities:
To form close relationships with both internal and external customers
To design and conduct both quantitative and qualitative research projects by phone and electronic survey
To design and conduct desk-based research projects
To analyse data, produce reports and make recommendations on findings to share with peers.

Key Requirements:
Extensive experience in a market research role
Experience in designing and managing research projects including online survey methods
Excellent telephone, communication and presentation skills
Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint

A Professional Certificate in Marketing (CIM) is preferable but not essential
Experience within the automotive industry is preferable but not essential

Located in Leeds office, the candidate will receive basic salary £25,000 - £30,000 (negotiable) and 25 days holiday p.a.
