I am currently recruiting for a Pastry chef de partie for a 4 AA property in Edinburgh
What are the main duties?
• Food preparation in specific area : Pastry
• Reporting to senior pastry chef on stock requirements – daily check goods in.
• Working within approved menus.
• Maintaining Health and Safety and Hygiene standards to the highest possible standards.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as appropriate.
Carry out any other duties related to the role as may be required from time to time
What responsibility does this role have for budgets, staff, equipment, materials, etc.?
• Ensure work carried out in line with Health and Safety and Hygiene Standards.
• Effective and efficient use of resources.
• Proper use of equipment.

What qualifications are required to perform this role?
• City and Guilds 706/1 and 2?
• Intermediate Food Hygiene.
What experience would be required to carry out this role?
• Candidates should have previous experience working within a kitchen catering up to 500 guests
• Should be able to work well in a team
What skills would you need to perform this role?
